I have been putting off posting about Oliver for sometime. Unfortunately after a day at the Animal Hospital on the East Side Oliver didn't make it. I was amazed at the depth of emotion I felt at Oliver's passing. I know he was only a pet bird but he was born in the apartment and he was just so adorable.
The reason I am writing about this now is because Max and Nibbles have been on the fast track and seem to have at least 2 hatch lings from their latest egg-laying extravaganza.
While part of me is a bit scared/nervous about them having chicks again part of me is also excited. I am hoping the birds and my roommate and I are a little more experienced and can foster an environment where these new babies can grow...
As soon ans Max and Nibbles allow it I will post pics of their new babies.
